1. Permitted use
You may use the public tools for lawful personal, educational, professional, and organizational formatting, validation, conversion, inspection, comparison, and related workflows, subject to these rules and any displayed limits.
Automated access is allowed only through an expressly offered API or written permission. Normal browser use must remain fair and must not degrade access for others.
2. Prohibited content and conduct
You must not use FormatHive to create, process, distribute, conceal, or facilitate material or conduct that is unlawful or that creates a substantial risk of harm.
- Malware, credential theft, phishing, fraud, spam, deceptive impersonation, or unauthorized surveillance.
- Child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation, trafficking, credible threats, or instructions intended to cause physical harm.
- Content that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, contractual, or other rights.
- Personal data, secrets, or regulated records that you lack authority or a lawful basis to process.
- Harassment, discrimination, doxxing, or targeted abuse prohibited by applicable law.
- Attempts to evade sanctions, export controls, court orders, or legally binding restrictions.
3. Security and service integrity
Do not probe, scan, exploit, disrupt, reverse engineer beyond legal allowances, or attempt unauthorized access to the service, accounts, infrastructure, databases, administration, or providers.
- Do not bypass rate limits, payload limits, consent controls, access controls, robots directives, or technical safeguards.
- Do not send denial-of-service traffic, abusive automation, scraping that burdens the service, or requests intended to inflate ad impressions or clicks.
- Do not introduce malicious code, corrupt data, or deceptive issue reports.
- Do not interfere with advertising, analytics, audit, abuse-prevention, or security systems, except through offered privacy controls.
- Do not test vulnerabilities without prior written authorization. Report suspected security issues through the support or privacy contact.
4. Advertising integrity
Never click ads to generate revenue, ask others to click ads, use bots or incentives to create impressions or clicks, obscure ad labels, manipulate viewability, or misrepresent traffic sources. Advertising activity must comply with the provider’s policies.
5. Enforcement and reporting
We may rate limit, block, suspend, investigate, preserve evidence, remove content under our control, notify affected parties, or report conduct to providers or authorities when reasonably necessary.
Enforcement decisions consider context, severity, repetition, harm, legal obligations, and available evidence. Where required by law, an appeal or complaint channel will be provided.
Report misuse or security concerns through the contact channels. Do not include active credentials, private keys, or unnecessary personal data in a report.
